SAFE Tameside provide a place of safety for people experiencing mental distress or a crisis. They offer immediate support in a safe environment, a ‘listening ear’, practical support and connection to relevant services, organisations and information as required. Their team of peer supporters know what it’s like to be where people are now. They will listen to people and provide non-judgemental, emotional support.
They have a range of drop-ins across Tameside and Glossop - see their timetable for details of venues and times here. The service is provided by a collaborative of organisations; The Big Life Group, The Anthony Seddon Fund and Tameside, Oldham and Glossop Mind.
